I’ll be frank. The whole “COVID Thing” has had me tongue-tied, blogwise. It has been a lot easier to post regularly on my Instagram feed than to write blog posts this year. The result is bite-sized eyecandy, easy to share, and easy to digest.
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll get an almost daily eyeful of photos and sometimes videos of plants, bugs, gardens and street art found on my walks or in my own garden. Posts like the ones above and below.
If you’re on Instagram, too, do drop by. I hope to see you there!

It’s a joy to see you on Instagram, on your blog, or anywhere, Helen. I look forward to our next garden touring experience together. 🙂
Beth, you are a good friend!
It’s funny. COVID has nearly the opposite effect on me. I long for longer conversations and more extensive writing. I’ve backed pretty far away from social media, and I now only post a few times a week. Got rid of Twitter completely. I found I have more of a desire to do deeper work. I don’t know exactly why. Still trying to figure that out. ~~Dee
I’ve been trying to figure this out, myself, Dee. And I’ve just started to wonder if this pervasive mood of anxiety from multiple sources, not just COVID, has triggered something from my unstable childhood. My online persona has become non-verbal, or (except for jokes) certainly less so! Funny from someone who has made her living as a writer. Still working this through. Love to you and your family.
